How do I know I have a natural gas leak?
There are a few signs to look out for that indicate a potential natural gas leak. Some of these warning signs include areas of dead vegetation directly above where your gas line is buried, your meter dial continuing to move after all appliances using natural gas have been shut off, a sudden increase in gas consumption, and/or a distinct natural gas order. If you suspect a potential gas leak, leave your home immediately and call Pro Plumbing Air & Electric for help right away.
What could happen as a result of a leak?
What will most likely happen as a result of a leak in your gas line is your gas service will be disconnected since a gas leak is a serious hazard. You will be notified if a leak is discovered during your gas line inspection. Gas service will resume upon repairing the leak. If a leak is discovered in your gas line, call Pro Plumbing Air & Electric to have a certified HVAC technician resolve the leak.
